Abstract

In this essay, the two programmatic spiritual-pastoral arches of the magisterium of Paul VI are studied: dialogue and charity/poverty. Here we have the most original Montinian perspective and, undoubtedly, the one with the widest historical impact: in fact, it starts from the Ecclesiam suam, passes through and finally even transcends the Montinian pontificate itself and reaches the pontificate of Pope Francis. With Bergoglio, the interrupted thread of the Montian elaboration is resumed. In particular, with the encyclical Fratelli tutti.
